Born in Lachapelle, Haiti, Marcnel studied journalism at ISNAC before an extraordinary journey through the Darién Forest to the United States. His on-the-ground work aided over 60 migrant families and earned international recognition. Since 2022 he has led PolyvraNews from Evansville, Indiana.
